NSAN has today announced the appointment of Colin Reed as the new Chair

Colin Reed succeeds Martyn Fletcher, who after two great years decided to step down.

He was Director of NSAN until his retirement in 2018. His career includes periods leading the Human Resources function in shipbuilding, engineering and mining, along with the nuclear industry.

Colin Reed commented:

“I am delighted to join NSAN as Chair and will work with the Board and Senior Management team on both short and long-term objectives.”

Upon his appointment Jo Tipa, Managing Director commented:

“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to work more closely with Colin, whose skills, energy and ambition for NSAN are clear. I’m confident that, with Colin in the chair, NSAN will play an ever more important role in the skills for nuclear agenda across the UK.  Colin has been involved with NSAN since 2013 and his input, knowledge and guidance has helped to make NSAN a stronger organisation.

This is an exciting time for NSAN and a great moment for this appointment as we move to launch our digital strategy to make NSAN more accessible to all in the nuclear sector.”
