New Role for Assystem's Rachel Atherton at WiN

Assystem’s Rachel Atherton has accepted the role of Charter Contracts Manager for Women in Nuclear UK (WiN)

Rachel, who is the Business Support and Security Manager for the joint venture, AXIOM, will begin her new role in the coming weeks, putting her at the forefront of the nuclear industry's campaign to increase the number of women in the nuclear industry to 40% by 2030.

As a driving force behind the AXIOM Times newsletter, Rachel’s communicative skillset will be pivotal in her role within Win’s Industry Guidance Team, with the aim to promote the company and its values while also looking at the current pledges, including the current Nuclear Sector Gender Commitment, with Assystem one of over 150 individuals and organisations to pledge support.

Assystem’s Chief Sales Officer, Matt Gallimore, added:

“We are hugely proud of Rachel and her accomplishments, she enters this role with Assystem’s full support and backing. Her hard work and natural communicative skills will be a perfect fit for WiN, who are inheriting a highly skilled and dedicated worker to spread and incredibly important and pertinent message throughout the nuclear industry.”
