AELP to assess impact of provider access to schools on vocational agenda

The Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP) has been commissioned by the Department for Education to review the impact of the new provider access legislation, which requires schools to provide an opportunity for training providers to access all pupils in year 8 to year 13, and inform them about approved technical education qualifications and apprenticeships.

The duty has been in force since January 2018 and DfE now wish to understand more about its effect.  Survey results will be anonymised and shared with the Department for Education this year.
